Smart Dialer: T9 Contact Search for Windows Phone

Redesigned the Windows Phone dialer experience by developing a fast and memory-efficient T9 contact search engine. I implemented a persistent Trie-based indexing system that dynamically reindexed contacts on add, remove, or update operations—delivering instant, accurate matches as users typed on the keypad. In parallel, I partnered closely with PM and Design to craft and implement the user experience for integrating smart search directly into the dialer UI. This feature shipped to all Windows Phone users and significantly improved contact accessibility from the native dialer.
